I say this with some laughter… I think the consensus was that it’s getting better but it may be two novels in one. As it sits right now, I can’t deal with it. I must walk away from it to restore my sanity. I stopped writing it in November and had this mental block to it until the last couple months when I realized it was a mess. For now, I don’t want to clean up a mess.
Then I came up with a new idea for a young adult novel. So I’m going with that. I do believe that when the time is right, I’ll find the energy to clean up the mess of the first novel. But for now, it’s time to move on, or take a break, depending on how you want to look at it.
